Exfoliation 101

While dermatologists believe that exfoliation and Chemical peel treatment is a great (and sometimes necessary) way to shed dead skin cells and reveal fresh, radiant skin that sits beneath the surface, the recent popularity of cleansers, toners, grains and cell cleansers means many beauties enthusiasts exfoliate a little too much and a little too often.

                           Exfoliation 101

It is important to know what an inflamed skin looks like due to allergies and start treating it right away. This is the only way to prevent permanent damage and leave skars.

Here is a comprehensive guide to all peels, including how to soothe the skin after you have gone too fa

Signs of excessive peeling

Excessive peeling is one of the biggest mistakes people make. Generally, the skin only needs exfoliation once or twice a week to speed up skin cell circulation without damage. Yes, once or twice a week. If you worship acid peels every day, there is a good chance that your skin is begging for a break. Fortunately, it should be fairly easy to detect if you are overdoing the scrubs.

The most common signs of skin allergy: irritated red skin which shows that there is an inflammation. From this, it gets dry, cracked and feels sore and painful.

Disintegrations are another common reaction, especially of small, rough, lumpy pimples. Signs of excessive peeling irritation, tingling or peeling redness and inflammation cracks, especially small pimples increased sensitivity to other products in your routine There is one symptom of overuse that is harder to determine: the skin can develop a tight waxy texture, which - you know - can be confusing due to a healthy glow. In reality, it's all just that. It can look like wax from wiping skin cells and natural oils, which allows premature exposure under the skin.

Skin looks like it has a radiant glow. However, it is actually very dry and exposed. Excessive exposure can also lead to painful cracking and peeling.

You may also notice an increased sensitivity to using later products on a regular daily basis. In other words, the rest of your skin care routine can suddenly cause redness, burning or peeling. But don’t blame other products! It’s (probably) for all exfoliators.

As mentioned above, some of these symptoms tend to make you feel like you need as much exfoliation as possible, but resist.

Here’s what you should do instead.

If you notice any of the above reactions after exfoliation, whether it is an excessive facial exfoliation session or applying acid the first thing you need to do is stop exfoliating until your skin heals and is in its original texture. Basic texture will vary from person to person.

You may also need to adjust the rest of your skin care routine. Remove foaming cleansers (which can dry out and exacerbate existing problems), retinol products (which are too harsh to use on affected skin) and, of course, any physical or chemical peels. The goal is to make it simple.
